We believe Jesus is the greatest treasure in all the universe and we want to encourage our kids to seek Him with all of their heart. Treasure Seekers kids runs every Sunday during school term and is for kids in Kindy through to year 6. Our creche is available all year round for kids 1 year old - kindy age.
Kids
Kindy - Year 6
What to expect: When you arrive at church the Treasure Seekers Kids sign in is directly in front of you There will be a couple of our volunteers available to help you with sign in.
Kids will start in the main service with their families. We love to see families singing, praying and participating in communion together. After that the kids will head on out to Treasure Seekers Kids for age appropriate Bible teaching. They'll have a heap of fun, possibly make something crafty and most importantly they'll engage with the truth found in Gods word.
At the end of the service, parents will need to come to the kids ministry area to sign their kids back out. We love the opportunity to encourage families and we're looking forward to yours joining us
Creche
1 Year Old to Kindy
What to Expect: Just like the older kids families can sign their kids in for creche at the sign in desk in the foyer. Where some volunteers will be available to help you.
All kids will start in the main service with their families, but creche aged kids will leave just before communion. They'll have a heap of fun, read some bible stories and play together.
Should your young one need you for any reason one of our junior helpers will discreetly come and get you from the service.
At the end of the service, parents will need to come to the kids ministry area to sign their kids back out. We love the opportunity to encourage families and we're looking forward to yours joining us
Safe Ministry
Albany Church of Christ takes seriously the Bible’s concern regarding the vulnerable in our society, including children. Our team members are screened and trained in safe practice through Safe Ministry Check and have current Working with Children Cards. It is our desire that Church of Christ Albany will continue to be a place for all people to feel welcome and safe to fellowship, worship, grow in their faith and serve the Lord together.
